ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT

Last updated: December 2025

Our Commitment to Accessibility

Momentum Business Hub is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually work to improve the user experience for everyone and apply relevant accessibility standards to ensure we provide equal access to all users.

We believe that every person should have access to information about business, entrepreneurship, and professional development, regardless of ability. Our goal is to make our website usable by as many people as possible.

Accessibility Standards

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities and more user-friendly for everyone.

The guidelines have three levels of accessibility (A, AA, and AAA). We have chosen Level AA as our target because it represents a good balance between accessibility and design flexibility.

Measures We Take

We have taken the following measures to ensure accessibility of our website:

Content Structure

  • We use semantic HTML to create a logical document structure
  • Headings are used hierarchically (H1, H2, H3, etc.) to organise content
  • Lists are properly marked up to assist screen readers
  • Articles have clear, descriptive titles

Visual Design

  • Text has sufficient colour contrast against backgrounds (minimum 4.5:1 ratio for normal text)
  • Information is not conveyed by colour alone
  • Text can be resized up to 200% without loss of content or functionality
  • Our design is responsive and works across different screen sizes and devices

Navigation

  • All pages can be navigated using a keyboard alone
  • Focus indicators are visible when navigating with a keyboard
  • Skip links are provided to bypass repetitive content
  • Navigation is consistent across the website
  • Links are descriptive and indicate their destination

Images and Media

  • Informative images have alternative text descriptions
  • Decorative images are marked appropriately so screen readers ignore them
  • Videos published after January 2025 include captions
  • Complex images include detailed descriptions where necessary

Forms

  • Form fields have associated labels
  • Required fields are clearly indicated
  • Error messages are clear and specific
  • Forms can be completed using keyboard navigation

Known Limitations

While we strive to ensure all content is accessible, some areas may have limitations:

Older Content

Some articles published before 2024 may not meet current accessibility standards. We are working to review and update older content as resources allow. If you encounter accessibility issues with specific articles, please contact us and we will prioritise updates.

Third-Party Content

Some content embedded from third-party sources (such as social media posts, videos, or interactive tools) may not be fully accessible. We work to choose accessible alternatives where available and provide alternative access where possible.

PDF Documents

Some older PDF documents may not be fully accessible. Where possible, we provide HTML alternatives. If you require an accessible version of any document, please contact us.

Complex Data

Some business data, charts, or graphs may be challenging to make fully accessible. We provide text descriptions and alternative formats where possible.

Our website is designed to work with current versions of major browsers and assistive technologies, including:
